Our story
The Down Syndrome Association of Middle Georgia was formed in 2005 as Middle Georgia Buddy Walk working with the National Down Syndrome Society to organize an annual Buddy Walk to raise awareness and funding for programs at the local and national level benefiting individuals with Down Syndrome.
Our organization has grown over the past 18 years and as it continues to expand, we continue our affiliation nationally with the National Down Syndrome Society and World Down Syndrome Congress.
We love our mission and we love those we serve.
